Message from CPNJ:
Nine-year old Melody attends our Horizon School.
While her independence would increase dramatically by using a
wheelchair, she does not have the upper-body strength to use a
manual one. She can use a power wheelchair, but her mom’s
insurer will only cover 2/3 of the cost, leaving her mother with
thousands more to pay. To help, we turned to our friends at Fight4Mike
– a NJ nonprofit dedicated to providing assistance to children
with cerebral palsy. Fight4Mike responded with a $1,500 grant
to help Melody and her mom pay for the wheelchair.
From Melody and all of
us at CPNJ and
Horizon School-
thank you to everyone at Fight4Mike for making
a difference.
