I'm tryng to lose weight. Can you recommend a quick diet or cleanse?

Thank you for the great questions. We have found this question comes up a lot from both men and qomen. Our response is that dieting should be a lifestyle change and not a quick fix.

Most fad diets and cleansing products result in short term weight loss, but the long term can be an issue. Individuals who follow these diets and cleanses end up putting the weight back on because they aren't making lifestyle changes. They will follow up one fad diet with another and keep complaining that the diets don't work.

In order to properly lose weight we recommend eating a well balanced diet and exercising at 30 - 60 minutes per day for at least 4-6 times per week. Exercising should include strength training, cardiovascular trainng, and flexibility training. Losing weight can be challenging. Some people have medical issues (thyroid) while some people are just unmotivated and lazy. The biggest excuse we come across is that "I Don't Have the Time." Our response is " Make the Time."

Think about it, there are 1,440 minutes in a day and 10,080 minutes in a week. I'm sure everyone can find a way to incorporate at least 120- 180 minute into their 10,080 weekly minutes. There really should be no excuses about time.

Losing weight is a simple equation....(Calories Burned > Calories Consumed) = Weight Loss.

It's our belief that the fad diets and cleanses do more harm than good. Make the lifestyle change and don't simply take the easy way out. Treat your body with respect.
